The Council for the Advancement of the South African Constitution says the judgment on Shaun Abrahams’ fitness to hold office, is about restoring the independence of the National Prosecuting Authority.
Casac’s executive secretary, Lawson Naidoo, said this on The Fix with Karima Brown on Sunday night.
The Constitutional Court is set to clarify on Monday if National Director of Public Prosecutions Shaun Abrahams’ arrival at the NPA was just and equitable.
The juggernaut decision from the highest court in the land will determine the future leadership of the National Prosecuting Authority.
