One arrested after the discovery of women’s bodies in a shallow grave
One person has been arrested after the gruesome discovery of two elderly women’s bodies in a shallow grave in KwaZulu-Natal.
The women were found with their hands tied after going missing on 9 August.
Police spokesperson Robert Netshiunda said they don’t know what the motive for the killing was.
“At this stage we don’t want to speculate, but our investigators are following up,” he said.
“Looking at the crime scene, we believe the suspect was not acting alone.”
