Come and join this fast-paced, deadline-driven team in the capacity of Shaft Foreman you will responsible for effective maintenance of equipment and infrastructure in area of responsibility.
As the Shaft Foreman you will be responsible to:
Endure effective maintenance of equipment and infrastructure in area of responsibility
Effective movement of men, materials and ore to support operational performance and safety
The protection of assets in the area of responsibility
Assist during breakdowns or emergencies
Ensure that materials and equipment are available for the requirements of the shift in the area
Monitor and advise on the operation of machinery to optimize performance
This role is in the Engineering Department at a C5 level reporting Shaft Mine Overseer
Qualifications:
The following requirements will be required:
Grade 12
Blasting Certificate
Onsetter Certificate
Foreman Certificate
To be successful, you will have the following experience:
At least 3 to 5 years logistics experience in the mining sector
Additional information:
The successful candidate will need to undergo a Medical Fitness Test
Basic computer literacy
Valid driving license code 08
