Gauteng: At 13:50 Saturday afternoon Netcare 911 responded to a dirt bike crash at an isolated location off the R28 in Luipaardsvlei, West Rand.
Reports indicate that an adult male sustained serious injuries after crashing his off-road motorbike into a donga.
The almost inaccessible terrain where the patient was located made it difficult for off-road vehicles to access.
Once reached the patient was treated on scene by a Netcare 911 Emergency Care Practitioner and once stabilized was flown by Netcare 911 helicopter ambulance to the hospital for further care.
