Senzo Meyiwa’s murder trial resumes

The Senzo Meyiwa murder trial resumes in the High Court in Pretoria. This after three weeks of adjournment.

The defence said it needed time to consult their clients and experts on the 700 photographs that were downloaded from accused 3 -Mthobisi Mncube’s phone.

During court proceedings, Constable Sizwe Zungu testified that he saw the accused at a hostel on the night Meyiwa was killed.

Two of the accused deny being at Vosloorus on the night of the murder. Accused 1, Muzi Kawukhulelwa Sibiya, and accused 2, Bongani Ntanzi, say they were in KwaZulu-Natal on that day.
