A self-proclaimed pastor from Ambassadors of Christ Gospel Ministries church in Polokwane has been heavily criticised following a social media post of congregants eating what is said to be dog meat.
The alleged dog meat was served to congregants as holy communion.
Social media users have condemned the act.
But the pastor, who claims his spiritual father is controversial snake pastor Prophet Penuel Mnguni, says he was led by God.
Mnguni sparked outrage after it emerged that he had fed snakes to members of his church.
