At least 9 dead in Sebokeng shootout
At least nine suspected cash-in-transit robbers have been shot dead in Sebokeng, in Gauteng.
A shootout with police ensued in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Police said other suspects have been wounded and taken to hospital.
Police Minister Bheki Cele visited the area.
He said several firearms were recovered at the scene.
Cele says that they are profiling the suspects.
One of them is believed to be from KwaZulu-Natal.
