More than 240 schools damaged following KZN floods

Over 240 schools have been damaged due to floods in KwaZulu-Natal.

Nkosinathi Ngcobo from the KZN Department of Education says the number of damaged schools stands at 248.

Floods have destroyed homes leaving thousands of people homeless.

At least 259 people have died so far, but that number is expected to rise.
