COVID-19: Teachers to be vaccinated from 23 June until schools close

All teachers will be vaccinated from 23 June until schools close on 8 July.
This is according to Basic Education Minister, Angie Motshekga.
The minister made the announcement on Saturday saying all teachers will be vaccinated regardless of age.
Motshekga says the department has 582,000 that will need to be vaccinated in the coming days. According to the minister, schools will remain open and vaccination is voluntary.
She says that school closures will now be dealt with on a province-by-province or school-to-school basis.
