Sbahle Mpisane Joins Imbewu: The Seed

Fitness Bunny Sbahle Mpisane has decided to test the waters and become an actress. City Press revealed that the Durban based fitness fanatic is spreading her wings into acting and her first gig is the fan favourite Imbewu: The Seed.

The entertainer who has managed to dust herself off and get her life back on track will be joining the telenovela in the year 2021 in February. This is a shocker seeing how this will be her very first acting gig. She will not be a new face in television though, she has appeared on her mother Shauwn Mkhize’s reality show Kwa Mam’Mkhize.

Plus, she revealed that people have gone crazy over her funny facial expressions which could mean she does have it in her to be a good actress.

“Someone told me I had funny face expressions. I don’t know whether I (should) take that as a compliment or not, BUT,” she wrote.

This was addressed by media mogul Shona Ferguson in an exclusive interview with ZAlebs, where he slammed the open up the industry people for being selfish.

“The term “recycling actors” is very insulting to actors in our industry. Actors act. That’s what they do for a living. Saying because they’ve been on 1 project they should be cast away and someone new must be cast is unfair. I have never cared for this particular phrase “open up the industry” because it’s what we do every day of our lives. We open up the industry to new and old talent. We open up the industry to the world.
