Here are the Sassa payment dates for August 2023

It is almost a payday for grant beneficiaries. In a bid to eliminate lengthy queues and the waiting period at Post Offices, the South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) has rolled out the queue management system.
“It is all about customer experience. Sassa aims to eliminate long queues at its local offices across the country, so that beneficiaries can have a smooth experience when applying for their social grants,” said the agency.
The system has been rolled out in 43 different offices across the country. Check out the offices below:

Sassa has also shared the social grant withdrawal process for expired Sassa/Postbank gold card beneficiaries.
“You can still use your expired card until 31 December 2023,” it said.

Here are the payment dates for August:
- Older persons – 2 August
- Disability grants – 3 August
- Children’s grant – 4 August
