Social Development working around the clock to sort out Sassa non-payment, says Lindiwe Zulu

The Department of Social Development Minister, Lindiwe Zulu, says that her department is working around the clock ensure that grant recipients get paid.

Zulu has also said that the South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) cares about recipients.

This is after thousands of beneficiaries were left in despair after their payments were delayed in September.

Zulu confirmed that roughly 60,000 people who have yet to be paid.
