SASSA gold card holders to get social grants past December: Postbank

Postbank says SASSA gold card holders will continue receiving their social grants in December and beyond. The cards were set to expire in December.

The grants beneficiaries experienced problems and couldn’t get their grants on time earlier this month. Postbank spokesperson, Bongani Diako says affected beneficiaries have now received their grants.

“We really want to make the public aware that our systems are very thorough and no person that attempts to get double payment will be successful. We condemn this behaviour, it continuously creates the impression that there are still a lot of people that are not paid. Meanwhile many of the beneficiaries that had been impacted by the incident of the 5th and the 6th have been paid
