SARS says President Cyril Ramaphosa is tax compliant

The South African Revenue Service says President Cyril Ramaphosa and officials of his Ntaba Nyoni Estate and Ntaba Nyoni farm are tax compliant.
The revenue service says it received consent from them to release this information. SARS is prohibited by law from releasing taxpayers’ information without consent.
There’s been strong public interest in the president’s financial affairs. This week it emerged that the $580,000 paid by Sudanese businessman Hazim Mustafa to Ramaphosa hadn’t been declared to SARS.
The businessman apparently bought cattle at the president’s Phala Phala farm in 2020.
