New SAPS recruits called to serve and protect

There was a show of force in Kimberley as the men and women in blue were boosted with more recruits.

Some 10,000 police officers nationwide have been trained and are ready for duty to assist in the fight against crime this festive season.

President Cyril Ramaphosa welcomed some of the officers in Kimberley.
