SANRAL suspends KZN toll fees

KZN motorists will not pay tolls at the oThongathi and Mvoti toll plazas on the N2. This follows a decision to suspend the payment of toll fees at both these plazas.

The suspension is in effect as of Friday.

It comes in response to pleas from communities affected by floods, who are forced to use the N2 following the closure of other routes.
Premier Sihle Zikalala wrote to the national government asking for relief on the payment of toll fees to ease the burden. This decision will constitute an additional contribution by SANRAL to disaster relief efforts.
