Lira reacts to her SAMA 28 nomination

Lira acknowledges being nominated by the South African Music Awards (SAMA 28). On Tuesday, nominees were announced in 0ver 30 categories, and the singer secured a nod at the Remix of the Year category.

The Feel Good remix she did with DJ Maphorisa got her the nomination and she’s excited, though recovering from a stroke.

“Such special news right now. Just received a SAMA nomination for my remix done by @djmaphorisa! I’m very well, slowly, slowly recovering!” she wrote on Instagram.

Weeks ago, Lira updated her fans about her health; she said she’s doing very well but the stroke affected her speech, hence she’s focusing on total recovery.
