Looking for a go-getter Manager who wants to grow in a dynamic new and fresh brand.
Chris & Alley is South Africa’s First Super Salon Beauty Salon and is a fresh and dynamic business. This Salon is located in the Grove Mall, in Pretoria East, and is in close proximately to the highway, N1 and N4.
We are looking for a Salon manager who can assist and manage the Salon effectively.
The Salon manager is responsible for the operations of a salon. It’s their job to make sure that the business is fully staffed, scheduled appropriately, well-stocked, and running smoothly at all times.
Manager does not necessarily needs to come out of the Beauty Industry, however, this could pose as an advantage.
- Oversee daily salon operations
- Hire and train Beauticians/ Nail Technicians/Receptionists/Baristas , as needed (Liaise with Training Department to ensure quality of brand is up-held and at its best form consistently).
- Organize employees’ shifts, considering peak times and seasonality
- Order beauty products, like creams and essential oils and replenish stock
- Arrange for regular maintenance services for all equipment
- Apply hygiene practices across all beauty stations
- Ensure all beauty treatments meet high quality standards
- Maintain staff records, including salaries and working schedules
- Receive payments from clients and track all transactions
- Keep updated records of costs and revenues (e.g. daily, monthly and quarterly)
- Ensure Cash up’s are balanced, and banked.
- Hold performance review meeting with staff to ensure Salon Targets are met and improved on.
- Ensure Client experience is seamless and issue free.
- Exceed client expectations
- Manage all aspects of the client experinece cycle, to ensure the salon remains on top form for clients.
- Manage and maintain the business reputation.
- Ensure all remote orders are picked and packed, and shipped on time.
- Previous management experience is a must, unless worked in the Beauty Salon Environment as Reception Co-ordination.
Must have your own transport, willing to work retail hours, weekends, and December peak retail trade hours.
The individual must be driven by exceptional customer service and like working with people.
The individual must be forward thinking and open to change, and a team player to build the brand together.

Salary: R12,000.00 – R18,000.00 per month
