R20 000 – R30 000 a month
Our Client is looking to employ 3 top candidates for this position , must be able to provide contactable references with CV, must have proven track record in ICT Sales. Commission will also be included in this position on top of basic salary.
Proven account management skills required in order to create, maintain and enhance customer relationships.
New business development – within the existing client base as well as getting new customers.
Minimum 3 years of IT sales or account management experience.
Extremely sales target and revenue-driven.
Good understanding of custom software development, IT business consulting and cloud services.
Creative in addressing customer needs from a solution and commercial point of view.
Technical competence – understands software, hardware, networks, and business consulting and how it relates to business in terms of value add.
Motivated, goal-oriented, persistent and a skilled negotiator.
High level of initiative and work well in a team environment.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Handles stressful situations and deadline pressures well.
Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction.
Must have written proposals and presented the proposals to customers
Post matric qualification preferred.
Sales target achievement.
Responsible for all client communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on client deliverables and revenue.
Reviews all major deliverables (i.e. strategic brief, functional spec, technical spec, etc.) to ensure quality standards and client expectations are met.
Ensures that client issues are dealt with in an efficient manner, informing his or her Manager of any problems that may arise.
Manages the contract and contract renewals for new and existing work for an existing client.
Provides input into the invoicing process ensuring that internal and customer processes are followed and adhered to.
Provide assistance to the finance department for payment collections.
Works closely with the project team in order to maintain a continuous knowledge of project status in order to identify potential issues and/or opportunities within or related to the project.
Ensures that all processes and procedures are completed, quality standards are met, and that projects are profitable.
Aware and in pursuit of opportunities for account growth and new business, involving the necessary resources required.
Communicates the client’s goals and represent the client’s interests to the team.
Provides regular two-way communication between the client and team, to provide strong team representation and set proper client expectations.
Understanding of Employer capabilities and service, and effectively communicates all offerings to the client.
Support marketing activities and integrate personal sales efforts with other organized marketing activities like product launches, promotions, advertising, exhibitions and telemarketing.
Respond to and follow up all sales enquiries.
Reports to the Line Manager, providing regular feedback on all account activity, including deal status and deal updates, debtor’s reviews and general feedback or concerns.
Normal working hours are 07:00 – 16:00 or 08:00 – 17:00 although it would occasionally be required to work overtime when deals must be closed.
