SAB to implement mandatory vaccine policy
South African Breweries says its considering introducing a mandatory vaccination policy for its staff. Several large companies have implemented mandatory vaccination policies in the workplace.
These include Sanlam, Curro, Discovery Health, MTN, Dischem, Life Healthcare, Standard Bank, and MTN.
The brewer says the policy is important because the industry has been severely impacted by lockdowns and alcohol bans.
It says vaccination is key to protecting lives and the one million livelihoods supported by the alcohol industry.
