R6.43 billion tenders to drive SA road repairs & construction

Over R6-billion will be spent on road infrastructure in 2024.
The SA National Roads Agency has started adjudicating tenders which will be awarded early next year.
Sanral CEO Reginald Demana says the tenders will be fairly distributed to players in the sector.
“There are dominant players listed on the JSE that you will see forever featuring on major contracts,” he said.
“One of our key objectives is to make sure we diversify the pool of service providers.”
