SA records 23,884 new COVID-19 cases and 24 deaths

A total of 23,884 new COVID-19 cases have been reported in South Africa in the last 24 hours. Gauteng still leads the surge with over 8,600 cases
It is followed by KwaZulu-Natal with over 5,200 and the Western Cape with over 3,100 cases.
The positivity rate now stands at 34.9 percent. The NICD said 24 more people have died, taking the death toll to 90,172.
