Minister In Presidency Jackson Mthembu has thanked South Africans who are staying at home. Mthembu was speaking during the National Command Council update on the lockdown on Saturday. He also thanked the country’s health workers, security forces, traditional and church leaders for their role in fighting the spread of the coronavirus.
“We once again want to thank all people of South Africa. Particularly those who are heeding the call to stay at home”, he said. South Africa has begun a 21-day national lockdown in a bid to curb the spread of the virus.
