SA lockdown expected to move to Level 3 as from end of May

President Ramaphosa addressed the nation to announce that the country will go to Level 3 as from

All areas that are hotspots of the COVID-19 will remain on Lockdown level 4 as most of the areas in the country are expected to go down to Level 3 by the end of May.

The death toll of those affected with Covid-19 is now 219 and the Govt urges people to take personal responsibility to help curb the virus.

Infections are expected to rise as the Lockdown regulations are changed to allow people to move around more. People need to avoid contact with others to limit infections.

President Ramaphosa apologised to the nation for the hardships that they have endured due to the global pandemic that has taken this country to its knees and now it’s time to go to the next level to try to revive our economy.

The President said, ” I have been encouraged by so many people wearing face masks, South Africans have taken the COVID-19 message seriously”.

Govt might have disappointed you but it will continue to make amends in this uncharted territory.

16-year-old Andile Bobo Mchunu disappeared after he was assaulted in Magagula hotel in Hambanathi, Tongaat, North of Durban. Bobo was found dead and dumped in the Newton River in Tongaat. Police search efforts were intensified due to a social media uproar for #justiceforbobo after a video of Bobo being beaten to death emerges.
