South Africa has recorded 2,782 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours.
916 of those were identified in Gauteng with 467 in the Western Cape and 352 in KwaZulu Natal.
All other provinces recorded less than 300 new cases.
Sadly, a further 14 people have died.
