More SA citizens will vote in London than any other voting station abroad

Bongani Bingwa speaks with Mawethu Mosery, Deputy Chief Electoral Officer at the Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC).
More than 78 000 South Africans are expected to vote abroad at 111 missions.
London has over 24 000 registered voters, making it the largest foreign voting station for the upcoming elections.
South African voters in the United Kingdom will vote on 18 and 19 May.
IEC Deputy Chief Electoral Officer, Mawethu Mosery:
“We still urge South Africans to try to utilise the first day as much as possible.”
The IEC has begun shipping voting materials, including voting booths, ballot boxes and papers, and stationery packs.
Mosery says they are ready for the weekend.
