SANDF monitoring SA borders

Soldiers have been deployed to the country’s borders.

This will increase the capacity of law enforcement as higher cross-border movement is expected.

Border Management Authority Commissioner Dr Mike Masiapato said they are monitoring the movement of people from South Africa into neighbouring countries.

“The busiest parts in this instance will be Beitbridge, Lebombo, and Maserubridge, in particular,” he said.
