Numsa studying Ruth Ntlokose judgment

Numsa says it is currently studying a court judgment on the suspension of its second deputy president Ruth Ntlokose.
The Labour Court has declared Ntlokose’s suspension invalid, unconstitutional, and unenforceable by law.
Ntlkotse and 30 others brought an urgent application against the trade union following their suspension almost two weeks ago.
They claimed the suspensions were unconstitutional and only served to sideline them ahead of the national congress set for this week.
The trade union had also placed the Mpumalanga Regional Council under administration, which the court also ruled unlawful.
This would have meant that the biggest region had no delegates to participate in the congress.
