Royal expert slams rumours that Queen Elizabeth has died

A royal expert is putting a stop to rumours that Queen Elizabeth has died. Social media was sent into a frenzy after leaked WhatsApp messages, posted by a person named Gibbo, claimed that the 93-year-old monarch died of a heart attack on Sunday morning, News.com.au reports.

But royal commentator and editor of Royal Central, Charlie Proctor took to Twitter to put to the rumours to bed. I see we have reached that time of year where I have to dispel rumours of HM’s passing,” Proctor wrote.

“The queen is not dead. She is alive and well and is very much looking forward to hosting President Trump and other world leaders at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday for the Nato reception.

According to Elle Magazine, the queen will reportedly be retiring from her royal duties in the next 18 months.

Prince Charles is said to be taking over her duties in 2021. Planning for Charles to become king has been going on for some time. A transition is plainly already under way,” a royal insider revealed. Her Majesty is in her 90s and can understandably only do so much.
