Gauteng: At 16H57 Tuesday afternoon Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the M67 Peter Road in Roodepoort.
Reports from the scene indicate that the driver of a fully laiden truck transporting bags of cement lost control resulting in a collision with approximately eighteen vehicles.
The truck crashed through a boundary wall of a residence where it came to rest.
Medics assessed the scene and found that eight patients had sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate.
The patients were treated on the scene and once stabilized were transported by various ambulance services to the hospital for further treatment.
