Roman Reigns slams UFC-bound Brock Lesnar

Reigns dethroned Lesnar at SummerSlam and have been criticising his part-time schedule ever since WrestleMania 34 five months ago. Roman Reigns took a swipe at ex-Universal Champion Brock Lesnar during RAW’s Live Event at The O2 in London.

The Beast rarely defended the belt but the new champion takes pride in putting the title on the line every week.

Towards the end of the show at The O2 three nights ago Reigns told a camera that he has done a lot more than The Conqueror. The four-time world champion said: “Making towns. In one week, I did more than Brock has ever done.”Lesnar seems set to return to UFC for a Heavyweight Championship clash against Daniel Cormier which may take place early next year.

Reigns is now being established as the company’s top guy even though he still receives more boos than cheers from the WWE Universe. He headlined the show in London as he defended the Universal Championship against Mr Money in the Bank Braun Strowman.

The Big Dog won via disqualification when Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler interfered and attacked him. However, his Shield partners Dean Ambrose and Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins came to his aid and took out his three rivals.

The show ended with The Hounds of Justice slamming McIntyre through a table with the Triple Powerbomb.

Brock Lesnar

Strowman is not done with Reigns yet as he will challenge him for the belt at Hell in a Cell inside ‘Satan’s Structure’ on September 16 at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas. The Monster Among Men agreed to cash in his Money in the Bank contract as long as the champion faced him in a Hell in a Cell Match because this way Rollins and Ambrose won’t be able to interfere.

The Greatest Royal Rumble winner then turned heel as he teamed up with Ziggler as well as McIntyre and took out The Shield.

The Hounds of Justice will get a chance for revenge when they face The Monster Among Men, The Showoff and The Scottish Psychopath at WWE Super Show-Down on October 6 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia.
