A medium sided civil Engineering contractor with projects all over South Africa

Job Description
Measurement of all quantities relating to the contract both on site and off drawing

Site costing and reporting as per the company standard systems

Preparation of monthly valuation certificates

Monthly preparation of site pay-roll for employees and site staff for submission to Head Office

Attending monthly progress meetings

Checking and drafting contract agreements for subcontractors

Measuring and agreeing on quantities with the sub-contractor for payment purposes

Following up orders made to suppliers for timely delivery to site

Checking materials delivered to site against orders made

Assisting the Site Agent and Project Manager with site documentation and preparation of claims and project final estimates

Preparation of contract final accounts

Overall site administration

Candidate Requirements
Qualifications
BTech Degree in Quantity Surveying

Skills
8+ years’ experience as a QS on Roads and services projects Able to work independently
