Sanral says road contracts to pump R50-billion into economy

The South African National Roads Agency has announced plans to inject over R50-billion into South Africa’s economy through new tenders.

R15-billion worth of contracts have been awarded since 1 April which marked the beginning of the financial year.

The SOE says its evaluating 96 more tenders valued at R35-billion.
