One body has been found in the search and recovery mission of two people who were swept away during a ritual cleansing.

An 18-year-old woman and a 21-year-old man were swept away at the Klip River in Olivantsvlei four days ago.

Rain and high water levels have been a challenge for officials to conduct their work.
