8 killed in Richmond

Eight people have been killed and two injured in an attack in Richmond, KwaZulu-Natal.

Neighbours say they heard gunshots and went to investigate before discovering the bodies.

The deceased are aged between 15 and 41, and one is a teenage girl.

Richmond police are investigating eight counts of murder and two of attempted murder.

According to the community, the homestead attacked may have been used as a drug den.
