A person sustained serious injuries following a rhino attack near Pietermaritzburg in KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) on Monday.

“Our advanced life support ambulance was promptly dispatched to the scene to provide urgent medical assistance,” Robertson said.
Upon arrival, paramedics found a critically injured individual. Advanced life support measures were immediately initiated to stabilise the patient.

The patient was stabilised on-site before being transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

“Upon arrival, it was determined that a child had sustained serious injuries and required urgent advanced life support treatment,” Robertson said.
Paramedics stabilised the child on the scene using specialised rescue equipment before transporting them to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
