Jacob Zuma ConCourt ruling a major turning point, says Reverend Chikane

Reverend Frank Chikane believes the Constitutional Court ruling against the former president, Jacob Zuma, marks a great moment for South Africa.

Chikane, however, does not enjoy the fact that Zuma must spend 15 months in prison.

He has welcomed Tuesday’s ruling that found the former president guilty of contempt of court for ignoring orders to appear before the Zondo Commission.

Chikane is part of the ‘Defend our Democracy’ campaign that has been picketing to protect the judiciary.
