Reverend Al Sharpton to deliver Steve Biko memorial lecture

American civil rights activist Reverend Al Sharpton is expected to deliver the 20th annual Steve Biko memorial lecture.

The legendary civil rights activist has been vocal on the Blacks Lives Matter movement.

Biko, the anti-apartheid activist died at the age of 31 in detention at the hands of the apartheid regime.

The virtual event is expected to start at 17h30.
