My Client, a trendsetting dessert and beverage outlet, is recruiting young, vibrant Sales Assistants to join their team. The Brand has recently opened their first store in Emmarentia, Gauteng and you are invited to apply to this exciting opportunity!

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Senior Certificate (Grade 12, bachelor’s pass required)
Occupationally Directed Certificate (Hospitality, Retail – preferred)
Barista skills (preferred)
Previous experience obtained in a Bakery/Patisserie/Coffee shop/Dessert Brand
Two years’ experience in a customer-facing hospitality environment with a strong focus on exceptional Customer service delivery
TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE
GAAP POS (Intermediate)
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Available to start immediately
Reside in close proximity to Emmarentia Ability to work hospitality/retail hours (including night shifts until 22h00, weekends and public holidays)
Six-day working week, with one day off
Own transport required
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Responsible for the assembly/decoration/packaging, presentation, and delivery of menu items and hot/chilled drinks in accordance with Brand operational standards
Complete sales transactions, inclusive of Cash, Credit-Card, Zapper payments whilst maintaining Cash Handling Procedures
Maintain stock levels in the store, including receiving, storage, recording and reporting discrepancies to the Shift Supervisor.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the store
Contribute to a positive and fun working environment by maintaining a professional relationship with co-workers and Supervisors
Counter Sales Assistants may be required to tender their services at events/functions outside the store environment
