JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Company Field Services and Repair Centre Technician, the candidate will be accountable for the following duties and daily deliverables:
Summary of the role and key responsibilities:
Able to confidently perform troubleshooting and diagnostics either directly or remotely on Mobile Devices and Printer equipment.
Understanding of Mobile Device and Printer equipment to component level.
Ability to commence repair or resolution work against a set process and methodology.
Ability to identify faulty or replacement components in order to execute the repair or replacement of these.
Ability to conduct testing and quality assurance processes prior to the return of the equipment back to the customer site.
Understanding of software, applications & operating systems.
Ability to provide professional technical support at Customer sites and escalate in instances where the incident cannot be resolved within the agreed timeframe.
Ability to manage time and ensure that repair or technical work is completed within the agreed time frames.
Understand of an Incident management process and the ability to provide high quality technical feedback.
Capable to adhering to administrative processes and procedures.
Providing feedback and recording of work into the Incident Management Application.
Providing technical support and service to Customers after hours.
Key Objectives of the Role:
Engage with Customer on Service Escalations and provide an excellent Customer Experience for Company Customers.
Provide a high level of quality work and consistent service to Customers.
Adherence to Standard Operational Procedures.
Achieve Key Performance Indicators set for the role.
Ensure a positive Customer Experience and seek to improve Customer Satisfaction.
Requirements for the Role
Diploma or relevant experience in Electronics.
Mobile Device and Printer Repair experience.
Experience in onsite technical support.
South African driver’s license.
Own transport.
3 to 5 Years of repair centre experience.
Fluent in English oral and written.
Good time management.
Ability to work under pressure, multitask and prioritize.
Team player; easy to work with, integrates easily into a new environment.
Capable of showing initiative and out of the box thinking.
Proficiency in MS Office is a must.
Experience:
3+ years in a similar position
Candidate Requirements
Diploma or relevant experience in Electronics. Mobile Device and Printer Repair experience. Experience in onsite technical support. South African driver’s license. Own transport. 3 to 5 Years of repair centre experience Proficiency in MS Office is a must.
