City Power: Load shedding damaging region’s grid

City Power says it is buckling under the strain of rolling power cuts.

In a series of tweets, the Johannesburg power supplier says Stage 4 is damaging the region’s grid.

It says the system is not designed to be repeatedly switched on and off.
