Albinism Vs Bleaching: See How Refilwe Modiselle Educates The Ignorant. It is quite sad that in this day and age of the internet people are still ignorant over basic stuff. Many took to Twitter to compare skin bleaching to albinism. Refilwe Modiselle took it upon herself to educate them in their ignorance.
The colorism debate indeed sparked a whole lot of issues. “Can ignorant people stop comparing bleached skin to albinism it was never the same thing & is a deep insult to a person like myself who was born & lives with the condition. People with albinism don’t get to choose their complexion. Please stop it. It hurts. Educate yourselves,” Refilwe said.

She also clapped back to a few individuals who compared her to the likes of Khanyi Mbau who bleaches their skin. Refilwe emphasized that Albinism is not a choice, and they don’t go to doctors asking to be stripped off their complexion.
Please correct this. She's never had albinism. Bleached vs Albinism….never in the same category at all. It's a disrespect to a condition you don't have a choice in.

Candice Modiselle also came to her big sister’s defense. “You’ll do a world of justice if you take the time to educate yourself on the condition babes,” she clapped back at one ignorant tweep.
