The kingpin of a fake passport syndicate has been caught red-handed in a midnight sting by Home Affairs and the Hawks.
The Pakistani man was arrested alongside 28 others in the Krugersdorp Home Affairs office.
He’s accused of paying corrupt Home Affairs staff to produce fake passports for illegal immigrants, by swapping their identities with South Africans.
