DA ward councillor arrested on rape charge
Community members in Hanover Park say they are disgusted by the actions of a DA ward councillor.
He is accused of allegedly raping a person whom he had promised work.
The 56-year-old man is expected to make his first court appearance on Monday.
Meanwhile, the City of Cape Town’s council speaker says investigations are underway.
