Rand tumbles on claims that SA armed Russia

The rand crashed to its previous record intra-day low on Thursday. It lost more than 30 cents of its value against the dollar.

This is minutes after the US ambassador to South Africa accused South Africa of providing weapons and ammunition to Russia.
