There’s light at the end of the tunnel, says Ramokgopa
Electricity Minister Kgosientsho Ramokgopa says generational capacity is improving, but the country is not out of the woods yet.
Recently, Eskom has been switching power cuts between Stage 1 and 3.
Kgosientsho Ramokgopa says they are making progress on the plans to end blackouts.
He says even though Eskom has planned maintenance, it’s managed to lower stages of power cuts.
Meanwhile, Ramokgopa says they are working tirelessly to get the Medupi Power Station fully operational.
