Actress Rami Chuene and life coach Romeo Mabasa have been announced as the new hosts of a new reality TV series called Away For Repair.
The show by South African National Parks will air on Mzansi Magic from 7 October at 9.30pm.
Announcing the show, SANParks said it will show heartfelt stories of ordinary people who want to mend broken bonds.
“The teams include a pair of varsity friends dealing with a deep betrayal, sisters yearning for acknowledgment of past hurts, a married couple that has lost their foundation of trust and a mother and daughter in deep need of unlearning their toxic behaviours,” said the organisation.
The winners will get a weekend get away at the Kruger National Park.
“The winning team will win an all-expenses paid weekend stay at the Skukuza Safari Lodge situated in the iconic Kruger National Park. The runners-up will walk away with an all-expense paid weekend getaway to Golden Gate Highlands National Park,” they continued.
SANParks’ managing executive: tourism development and marketing Hapiloe Sello said it will be an emotional roller coaster.
“Away for Repair will treat viewers to an emotional roller coaster as four teams of two undergo a relationship boot camp against the spectacular backdrops of seven of South Africa’s prime national parks,” he said.
The hosts will be travelling to various parks such as the Mapungubwe National Park, Tsitsikamma National Park and Kruger National Park.
The series will see the teams compete in various adventures that will challenge them physically and mentally all in a bid to repair their broken bonds.
