Ramaphosa says late trains will soon be history

President Cyril Ramaphosa says overcrowded, unsafe and late trains will be a thing of the past.
He says he’s discussed improvements to rail travel with the transport minister.
Ramaphosa was speaking at the Cape Town Station where he unveiled two new trains.
“I went on a train in Soshanguve, hoping to be in Pretoria in 30minutes — it took us three hours.
“The train was late and overcrowded. Passengers told me it’s their daily experience and I promised we are going to make sure our trains run on time,” Ramaphosa said.
