fish processing company, seeks a Quality Controller to verify and maintain a desired level of quality in all products and processes by performing continuous inspections and reporting of non-compliances. Ensure that food safety and quality procedures are adhered to. Conduct daily hygiene inspections. Provide honest, accurate and timely quality reporting. Ensure that all quality related documentation is duly completed on a daily basis and signed off by respective department managers. Identify any foreign objects in production departments and take appropriate action to remedy potential harmful situations. Ensure that all incoming products meet specification, by conducting checks on incoming and outgoing shipments [fresh and frozen products]. Ensure that quality processes are controlled, by monitoring and recording quality parameters and temperature throughout receiving and outgoing processes. Ensure all health and safety measures are adhered to. To undertake other duties as requested. Min Grade 12, excellent English and Computer literate (Excel, Word & Microsoft).
