Quality Assurance and Site Supervisor wanted urgently: Salary: R10 000 – R20 000 Per MonthVacancy DetailsEmployer: The Kitchen StudioThe Kitchen Studio is looking for a Quality Assurance and Site Supervisor to join our team in Johannesburg.

As a Quality Assurance and Site Supervisor, your primary function will be to effectively supervise, monitor and report on on-going kitchen and cabinetry installations in Gauteng. Key responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:Conduct site inspections before installations commence to ensure sites are ready for installations to commence;Conduct site inspections during the course of installations in order to identify quality issues before the job is complete;Review and interpret plans for new installations and identify possible issues before you visit the site to inspect the site readiness;Explain any issues identified to the assigned fitting team and ensure that any such issues or problems identified on site are communicated to that fitting team;Liaise with customers to schedule site inspections and site readiness checks;Ensure that sites are ready for installation before components are delivered on site

Regularly communicate with fitters on site to determine the status and progress of installations on an ongoing basis;Compile lists of shortages and snags for on-going installations and, submit these shortages and snags to the relevant installation manager;Follow up on and monitor the completion statuses of issues identified on-site.

Candidate RequirementsMinimum Requirements:Matric/Grade 12 certificate;Tertiary Degree/Diploma preferable;Minimum 2 years’ management experience in the joinery, carpentry, kitchen, cabinetry and/or shop fitting industries; and Advanced computer literacy (Microsoft Office suite – specifically Word, Excel and Outlook).Salary dependent on qualification and experience.
